I recently had the opportunity to photograph some new scarves made by local weaver Liz Moncrief of A Weaver’s Way. I often photograph my own work but Liz had a particular vision for her pieces, and it was immensely fun to make it happen.

Because I spend so much of my spare time on the water in small boats, it’s hard not to take pictures. These are almost entirely cell phone images, shot through a waterproof pouch. 2021 Flower Calendar
This year’s flower calendar mostly featured photos from the Skagit County Master Gardener display garden, which was unfortunately closed to the public this past year due to COVID precautions. My calendars are available for sale every year through Lulu.com.

These photos were taken back in the good old days of 2019, when we could take six-person canoes out on Bellingham Bay at sunset.
