This was a different sort of project for me – I had the opportunity to write a piece for the Cascadia Weekly on a local, mobile horseback riding instruction business called Rolling Stone Equestrian. I observed one lesson, then took one myself – the first time I’d been on a horse in approximately one million years. It was scary but fun, and I love taking pictures of horses (although it’s dark in those arenas, and the horses keep moving). My husband used my camera to take some shots at my lesson, too.
