a wet day in the woods

It was raining hard yesterday, but the maples were glowing against the dark trees and low clouds.

more fog

I just can’t resist sunlight through fog in the woods. And we have a lot of it this time of year.

When autumn colors are taking over, I do find it interesting to transmute things into black and white occasionally. This woodland was all greeny-yellow with lots of shifting shadows.
